The Chroma collection explores the use of a single colour and its tonal range. The colour affects how we perceive the tree and the light in the landscape. Colour means different things to us, some common or shared and some unique to us. They also express the time of day or mood of the light which in turns lets us imagine ourselves in that moment.

Many of the Symmetree pieces are created from a number of photographs.

Mark would typically walk around the oak tree taking up to 12 photographs. They would then be combined together.
