Veritys Craft

Verity is a contemporary animal portrait artist whose vibrant acrylic and resin paintings capture the quirky characteristics of her subjects. Trained in Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University and with a PGCE teaching qualification, Verity spent 8.5 years in Qatar, where she honed her skills painting the expressive faces of camels.

Since returning to Suffolk, she has been active in the local art scene, joining groups like Suffolk Open Studios and exhibiting alongside prominent regional artists. More recently, Verity's work has focused on endangered wildlife and local landscapes, in addition to some more abstract pieces. In 2021, she completed a large mural in Framlingham, and in 2022 she opened her studio, Studio10a, where she teaches art to adults and children ages 8 and up.

Throughout her career, Verity has demonstrated a talent for bringing out the natural character and personality of her animal subjects through her distinctive painting style and composition. Her bold, textured pieces burst with colour, showcasing her mastery of the medium and her keen eye for quirky details. Embracing her textile design background, she has been exploring pattern, colour, and texture in her recent artwork, incorporating more resin as a medium. Verity is based in Framlingham, Suffolk
