Hamish is an extraordinary British abstract artist whose powerful works are both striking and atmospheric. Hamish has been a full-time artist for 25 years and is very passionate about producing excellence in every single piece of work he creates.

Hamish was born in South Africa and now based in Yorkshire,he has been passionate about art since his earliest memories and has always been actively involved in the creative process. After studying a Bachelor of Arts degree with Art History as his major, Hamish started his career teaching art at a secondary school.

Hamish works in both the sculpture and painting disciplines and draws on his faith for inspiration in every piece of art. He has a strong personal connection with every sculpture and loves producing works that speak directly to him. “I just feel art has so much to say and can move people in ways that little else can.”
